Core Beliefs

Serenade Performing Arts, located in the heart of the Green Mountains of Vermont, is a dance studio which strives to promote the exposure, education, and experience of the performing arts in our local community.

  • We believe that dance is for EVERYONE, regardless of their gender, body shape, color, physical ability, or social status

  • We are committed to making sure your child feels included and comfortable in our studio environment, while providing them with superior dance education from teachers who are qualified and passionate about dance!

  • We believe that every student is deserving of the same attention and quality of instruction.

  • We believe that dance nurtures the Body, Mind, and Heart

  • We believe that true excellence is achieved when superior classical training is blended with joy of movement in a manner that is both age-appropriate and developmentally sound.

  • Most importantly, we believe that a dance school does more than teach technique- It teaches discipline, learning to cooperate, building trust, learning kindness and empathy, and putting others first.

 

We believe that dance is a sport, an art, and culture!
